Magic of the Advertising Notepad

Notepads are not the simple writing mediums you think they are. In today's competitive business environment, notepad printing has also become an advertising tool. In fact there are many advantages in including notepads into your advertising campaign. I am here to tell you the magic of the advertising notepad and how it works. Let's start first with its premise.
The slow but sure way to advertise – The premise of the advertising color notepad is that it is a slow but sure way to advertise. Notepads of course are considered pretty useful. People write on them of course to scribble small messages and reminders. While they are not as flashy as flyers, this “usefulness” factor comes a long way.
People will keep advertising notepads, while flyers will usually go to the trash. Of course, you will not expect people to respond immediately to an advertising notepad, but with people constantly using the notepad and reading its advertising message, you'll be sure that they already know how to find your business when they need it. It is slow, but you will get your message across. It is a good supplement to your usual advertising weapons.
Cheap long term option – Color notepads also represent a longterm investment in advertising. As was said before, flyers have a very short lifespan, while notepads can last a long time with your customers. So your advertising message can in fact be always around for your customers to see. It may last a month or even more depending on how your potential customers use it. However, unlike advertising calendars, they are not as expensive to make. So you get a nice cheap deal with notepad printing, and a long term advertising plan to booth. This is great if you want to invest some advertising effort on a few loyal or promising customers in your business.
Easily distributable – Another great thing about custom notepads is that they are easily distributable. You can give them away, just like flyers and catalogs. They can also become freebies for special promotions if you like. You won't have to worry about mailing or other extraneous advertising cost. Once printing is done, you can just give them away, no worries about spreading them out too much.
Easily produced and modified – Notepads are also very flexible in terms advertising. You can easily have some custom notepads printed via an online printing service, and modify them in turn. You can adjust your advertising details quickly and you can change them easily to adapt yo your current advertising theme. So you don't have to worry about a major redesign, like in brochures and posters.
Perfect for many industries – Lastly, it would do well for you to know that notepads are perfect advertising tools for many industries. Service industries like hotels, restaurants and resorts use them quite commonly to give to their guests. Retail stores use them as great giveaways and promotional items while manufacturing and supply firms use them to advertise their services to clients. So it just comes to show you that notepads have enough magic in them to be useful to anybody really.
So? Hopefully that gives you some inspiration about using notepads for advertising. They have great magic in them perfectly suited for a lot of purposes. You will do well trying them out.

How Long More Should Your Business Booklet Be?

A great question about booklet printing that a lot of people struggle with is its length. Since booklets are not “books” per se, and books themselves vary and length, the rules for the length of booklet printing can be vary vague and often confusing. So lots of people ask, how long should my business booklets be?
Well, the simple answer to that question is basically answered by the booklet's ultimate purpose and use. In this article, I will tell you a few tips on the proper lengths and printing strategies of the different types of booklets. Hopefully this should give you a general idea of how your own booklet printing will play out.
Product booklets – For product booklets that advertise single, or related types of products, the general rule in length for booklets is that “the shorter it is the better”. Since product booklets are advertising booklets, you must keep in mind the attention span of the casual reader. In most cases this attention span is pretty short, and only goes for a few moments before getting bored, especially on booklets. So a product booklet for a car or gadget for example, should only go for about 5-10 pages long if at all possible. This should satisfy the need to display the information and specifications of the product, without getting too boring with the details. Aim for this length and you should be fine.
Public Relations booklets – For public relation booklets that describe a company or firm, the recommended length for the booklet is just around 4-8 pages long. Yes, it should even be shorter than advertising or product booklets since people have less patience with P.R. Booklets. Unless they are a reporter who needs to research, P.R. Booklets will usually be aimed for a more targeted audience of business partners and investors. So it pays to keep these kinds of booklets short and sweet to deliver the important information as good and as quickly as you can. Otherwise, those partners and investors will get bored with too much company puffery.
Training booklets – For training booklets, the rule is very simple. Booklets of this type basically should be as long as it should have to be to provide proper training. Of course, care must be taken in it being created too long. Anything beyond 30 or 50 pages and you'll have more of a book than a simple training booklet. But more or less, your training booklets should contain everything a person needs to learn the topic at hand. It just requires a little concise writing and clever images to make things shorter and easier to read.
Catalog booklets – For catalog booklets that display a number of product images, the best length should be around 8-16 pages depending on the amount of products you want to display. Anything more than 20 pages and you risk losing people to “product overload”. You can try to print multiple short catalog booklets of categorized products instead of one big one, if you want to avoid “product overload”. The shorter your catalog booklets are the better they will be understood and received.

How to Profit from Private Label Ebooks

There are generally two types of resale ebooks that internet marketers can sell for a profit - Private Label Rights (PLR) and brandable ebooks. In this article, I shall focus on PLR contents.
Most internet marketers would freak out at the thought of writing an ebook to sell. This thought would make every new internet marketer back off. However the secret is, most marketers do not write 100% of all ebooks they sell. Most of these ebooks are simply bought as private label contents.
A private label product is not a finished ready-to-sell item like most ebooks are. Instead it will be the raw source material that you can use to produce a finished item, usually in a word processor format, like Microsoft Word. You can usually modify the contents and even put your name as the author, or basically anything you like with it.
You need to understand there are many websites providing PLR contents and many have their own terms and conditions. Be sure to check out these terms before you start, to avoid running into any issues with the publishers.
Here are some simple guidelines on what you should do to make profits from PLR ebooks:
1. Firstly, read the ebook to get a feel for the subject. Then spend an hour or so researching the topic on the internet, to find out all you could about the subject.
2. Once the research is done, make a list of the points you want to make in your own version of the ebook, read through it again and start editing the content so it says what you want it to say. You may cut and paste the relevant sections into the right place.
3. Take a look at the way your draft reads and see if it fits your style of writing, your personality and your business. It would be important to develop your own unique style of copywriting and layout. This puts your 'spin' on it and makes it 100% unique to you. As long as you have rearranged, edited, removed, added and made the product unique to you, you can do whatever you want with it.
4. Next, go to Google and search for relevant affiliate links. A good place to search would be clickbank.com or paydotcom.com, as they offer thousands of ebooks in many categories. You may include these affiliate links in the text of the ebook, and make commissions when your customers buy from these affiliates.
5. At this point, you would tweak it, proof read it, (get someone else to do this) and then go ahead and publish it. There are many free word to PDF publishers on the net you can easily find.
Now, to really profit from the ebook you have just published, you could grant master resale rights. You could sell it on eBay and make it as easy as possible for anyone who wants to sell it themselves by providing a sales page, ebook cover and the email required to download the ebook. Take some time to think about how to drive traffic to view your ebook, as it could generate you an affiliate income and bring visitors to your eBay store and website. This might be where you sell your higher priced items, membership, complete packages and anything else and also get AdSense clicks.

Some Team building activities at Eastnor Castle

Eastnor Castle was founded by John Somers Cocks, 1st Earl Somers back in 1810 and now is the home of the family of James Hervey-Bathurst, grandson of Arthur Somers-Cocks. The Cocks acquired the land in the 16th century, but it was only until the Somers and Nash families became relatives of the first, when there was enough funding to build the mock castle. The architect Robert Smirke was in charge of the built, with the collaboration of Augustus Pugin who designed the Gothic drawing room.
Several events take place every year in the castle premises: the LandRover World Event in June, where LandRover fans can test drive the latest Range Rover, Defender and Freelander models; the Big Chill music festival –an alternative and chill-out music festival- is host in early August in the deer park and the Mountain Mayhem, which is a 24 hour mountain bike race was held in the deer park in 2008.
However the Castle has also served as wedding venue, corporate training and team building venue, and has been the location of several films for over 40 years, such as: One more time (1969), Great Antiques Treasure Hunt (1995), Country Lives (2007), and TV series and programs: The Pallisters (1974), Little Lord Fauntleroy (1994), Antiques Roadshow (2000), Dracula (2006) and others. The British glam rock band Slade recorded their music video Run Runaway in 1974.
Situated in the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire, the castle is conveniently linked to the national motorway network by the A438 –only ten minutes from the castle and two and a half hours from London. The natural resources and elements, as well as the magnificent surroundings make Eastnor Castle the ideal venue to host team building activities and events. The lake, the castle walls, the forests and the tough conditions of the terrain will take the best out of the participants in these events.
